Sébium Gel moussant actif’s formula both respects acne-prone skin and is effective in treating spots in order to meet skin’s most specific needs, from puberty to adulthood. Because without cleansing, there is nothing! With the development of Sébium Gel moussant active, BIODERMA has innovated with a formula that is both cleansing and caring.

Salicylic acid (BHA) is an ideal active ingredient for oily and acne-prone skin as it makes pores look smaller and reduces spots. Able to break the ties between dead cells, it eliminates them from the skin’s surface. It therefore has an exfoliating action that helps in unclogging pores. It also seems to prevent comedones from forming and spots from becoming inflamed and red1.
Glycolic acid (AHA) penetrates deeply thanks to its very small size. A powerful active ingredient, it eliminates dead and dehydrated cells and accelerates the peeling, flaking process, creating a ‘renewed skin’ effect. Thanks to this exfoliating action, skin becomes bright and smooth. For it to realise all of its potential as an active ingredient, there needs to be a high enough concentration which is kept in an environment whose pH is sufficiently acidic.

Lather the gel between wet hands and apply by gently massaging the skin
