Insect Ecran Infested Areas is a repellent product to be applied to the skin. It will protect you from mosquito bites for 8 hours. Formulated with 50% DEET, this repellent has been specially designed to protect against insect bites in areas where they proliferate: edges of lakes and streams, forests, marshes, etc. It is also particularly effective against the Aedes albopictus mosquito (also called the Tiger mosquito), vector of Dengue, Chikungunya, and Zika. In November 2014, Insect Ecran Zones Infestées received the first Biocide Marketing Authorization for mosquito repellents in France (Marketing Authorization issued by the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy).

Shake well before use. Spray into the palm of your hand and spread over the areas to be protected. Reapply every 8 hours if necessary for protection against mosquitoes and sandflies and every 7 hours for protection against ticks, not to exceed 2 applications per day. If using sunscreen, wait 20 minutes to apply the repellent. One bottle lasts 13 days at a rate of 2 applications per day.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not spray in eyes. Do not apply to mucous membranes or damaged skin.

Avoid contact with plastics, synthetic fibres, leather, varnishes, eyeglasses, contact lenses and watch lenses. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other sources of ignition. Use biocides with caution. Do not use on children under 2 years of age. Do not use on people with epilepsy or a history of convulsions. Use in pregnant women should be restricted to areas at risk of vector-borne disease transmission.
